Environmental and Social Manager

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a junior to mid-level Environmental and Social (E&S) Manager to join our team in London, working closely with our project stakeholders in managing and fulfilling our projects’ E&S and HSE obligations.

At Ellipse Projects, we deliver turnkey infrastructure solutions in healthcare, IT, and government administration across Africa and Southeast Asia. Our active projects are located in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Indonesia.

Our project stakeholders include public (governmental) clients, Equator lenders, Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), regional regulators, and the local communities and users of our projects.

We operate as a global team, collaborating seamlessly with our Paris headquarters and regional offices throughout all project phases, from pre-sales to pre-construction, construction, and operation.

Your role will be crucial in procurement and review of all E&S deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including terms of reference (ToR), Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Plans (ESMPs), Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEPs), Stakeholder Engagement (SE), and E&S Monitoring. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with HSE site requirements during construction and operation, meeting international standards and client expectations.
