As a Territory Sales Manager, you will drive new business by developing and executing a strategic sales plan, focusing on prospecting, lead conversion, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. You will build lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service, using Salesforce CRM to manage performance and customer interactions. Staying informed on market trends and competitor activities, you will provide consultative selling solutions, prepare competitive quotes, and negotiate terms that meet customer needs while maximizing profitability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure seamless project execution, alongside maintaining accurate sales records and meeting performance goals through effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth & Prospecting: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive new business, focusing on outbound prospecting (80%) and inbound lead conversion (20%).
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and grow a sales pipeline by identifying prospects and market segments, converting leads into sales, focusing on high-value projects.
- Customer Relationships: Build long-lasting partnerships by understanding customer needs, recommending solutions, and delivering exceptional service. Use Salesforce CRM to track performance and manage relationships.
- Market & Product Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends and competitors. Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and provide insights to management.
- Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative approach, offering competitive pricing and value-based solutions. Prepare accurate quotes and negotiate terms.
- Performance Reporting: Use CRM to maintain sales records and generate performance reports, tracking key metrics to meet goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations and support teams, providing leadership and support to team members as needed.
