As part of the firm’s ongoing expansion, they are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join at Partner level, based in their Bristol office. This is a superb opportunity to take on a leadership role, driving the growth of the private client team while delivering outstanding service to a diverse and affluent client base.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Private Client team in Bristol, delivering high-quality legal services and setting strategic direction for the department.
- Oversee a broad range of wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, and tax planning matters, providing expert guidance and support to clients, including high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Act as the face of the firm’s private client practice, ensuring the continued growth and expansion of the team while maintaining the firm’s remarkable reputation for excellence.
- Take a leading role in mentoring and developing junior lawyers, nurturing future leaders within the team.
- An experienced Private Client Solicitor with at least 10+ years PQE, with a strong background in leading private client teams and managing complex, high-value estates.
- Proven experience in a partner-level or senior role, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
- Exceptional technical expertise in private client law, including trusts, estate planning, inheritance tax, and other complex areas of private client work.
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to expand the firm’s private client practice and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire confidence both internally and externally.
