The role involves ensuring stability, performance, and scalability across VMware platforms. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues across virtual environments Handle capacity planning, patching, and upgrades Support backup and disaster recovery strategies within virtualised estates Collaborate with storage, networking, and security teams Document infrastructure, processes, and procedures Key Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Solid understanding of virtual networking and storage concepts Experience with VMware tools like vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite is a plus Comfortable with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerCLI, PowerShell) Familiar with backup and replication solutions (e.g., Veeam) VMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP) desirable Candidates with or who have held high-level security clearance are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will require security clearance prior to appointment, which can take up to 18 weeks.
