The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Software Verification and Validation Engineer to join the Real Time group. This is a new and exciting position created to meet the increased business demand for developing higher levels of Safety Critical Software.

You will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the delivery of Software Verification and Validation activities on safety-critical projects.

You will identify and implement process improvements, mentor verification and validation engineers, and drive best practices.

Experience needed

• An engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of safety-critical processes and standards such as DO-178C, with experience in SOI audits.
• Hands-on experience in generating verification plans, documentation, activities, and reporting.
• Technical expertise to support stakeholders and engineers, ensuring best practices.
• Ability to build capability within verification and validation teams, identifying skill gaps and efficiencies, and engaging with project leads.
• A strategic mindset to define and guide verification and validation strategies.

Desired Experience

• Experience in the Defence, Aerospace, or other safety-regulated environments is advantageous.
