About the role:
The Senior UX Researcher is a vital member of the Research Team at Adaptavist. This team employs diverse research methodologies to inform product development across different business units, focusing on User Experience and Market Research to support decision-making, discover new market opportunities, evaluate competitors, guide product development, and improve current products for usability and usefulness. The primary responsibility is to provide actionable insights for product development and foster a user-centered culture. As a senior role, it supports strategic decision-making across multiple products, working closely with stakeholders to implement a culture of evidence-based conclusions. It requires expertise in qualitative and quantitative research and the ability to innovate with new methods. Structuring projects aligned with business goals, collaborating effectively, mentoring junior researchers, coordinating external resources, and ensuring projects meet deadlines are key duties. While listed as remote, occasional in-person presence in London is required.
About the team:
You will join Adaptavist's global research team of 7 members, operating as a service within the company through the UX Research Service Desk. Their mission is to help product teams build useful, usable products, promote customer-centricity, synthesize insights, and ensure our products meet customer needs. The Senior UX Researcher will conduct research to guide product development at strategic and tactical levels, focusing on specific problem areas or business units.
