We have a new opportunity for a technical Principal Solutions Engineer to join our Cloud and Platforms team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and enhancing our cloud and platform engineering capabilities and strategies within our global asset management function. Your expertise will be the cornerstone of our Internal Developer Platforms, DevOps Tooling, and platform architecture.
This position blends Solutions Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Architecture, requiring hands-on proficiency in cloud technologies and services across AWS, Azure, infrastructure and platform automation, as well as enterprise-scale software delivery. You will work closely with Product Engineering, Architecture, Security, Site Reliability Engineering teams, and Senior Management to drive innovation and operational efficiency throughout our ecosystems.
What you'll be doing:
- Championing the design and implementation of our CI/CD pipeline and Internal Developer Platform, empowering our global engineering teams with self-service capabilities.
- Setting standards for DevSecOps, DevOps, and Platform Engineering best practices, ensuring our infrastructure is robust, reusable, and scalable.
- Innovating frameworks and integrations to streamline software delivery, cloud provisioning, and security controls, enhancing efficiency and security.
- Architecting, developing, and managing enterprise DevOps solutions, including GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and API catalogues, to improve operational excellence.
- Directing multi-cloud architecture, hybrid cloud networking, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Leading the design and integration of large-scale cloud and technology ecosystems aligned with business objectives within a regulated industry.
Who we're looking for:
- Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux, etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering methodologies, principles, and practices.
- Enterprise experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering in large-scale environments.
- Deep expertise in at least one cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS), preferably with multi-cloud experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise DevOps transformation, enabling developer productivity through internal developer platforms.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Ability to meet deadlines and focus on delivery.
- Leadership skills to guide a global engineering team, enhance capabilities, and define excellence.
