Hybrid Working

About the role
This role is central to Engine's Product & Technology Proposition, ensuring we understand client needs, sell appropriate solutions, and develop the right products. We seek a Core Banking specialist to own and develop our product in this domain, focusing on product configuration, ledgers, accountancy, and interest calculations. Ideal candidates are versatile, detail-oriented, and enjoy working collaboratively on complex core banking concepts, working closely with Business Development, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to design client-centric solutions. Your work will include product strategy, requirements gathering, solution design, and product ownership in an engineering context.
What you'll do:
- Product consulting: Engage with clients to understand their product management and finance needs, run workshops, and demonstrate core banking capabilities. Design and document core banking solutions with Engineering, including product structures, ledger setups, and interest models, and guide clients on Engine's capabilities. Propose and influence product feature enhancements aligned with strategy, providing client context to engineering teams. Develop training for partners and clients, and assist in assessing their requirements. Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product roadmap and strategy. Create sales materials reflecting deep product and client understanding.
- Product ownership: Bring expertise in finance and core banking, understanding product management, accountancy, ledgers, and interest calculations within a Banking/Fintech context. Design product improvements aligned with business vision, considering current and potential clients. Develop a thorough technical understanding of the product and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
