About Us

We are Mous. People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised and allow them to be their best. So, we are building the go-to brand refreshingly focused on product so people can have just that. We have consistently built our in-house expertise and spent millions in research and development on our relentless pursuit to making the best products possible. Over the past ten years we have flipped the tech accessory market on its head, raising the standards and people's expectations. We've made cases that can protect phones dropped from cranes, engineered magnetic accessory ecosystems before MagSafe even launched, partnered with Google to make super thin cases, developed impact materials and waterproof constructions to make backpacks that confidently protect laptops and we're only just getting started! We're creating products that empower people to be their best, whether they're on a wild adventure or commuting through the city. No matter what your everyday life looks like you can trust our products to remove frustrations, expand your experiences and help you to live without limits.

About the Role

Mous is looking for a driven Country Manager to drive the growth of our German business. Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, this role offers significant responsibility and a broad scope of levers to drive commercial performance. This role will have a lot of autonomy, including content creation but will also interact with a wide range of stakeholders. In particular, this role will work closely with our Head of Content and content team to help shape how we communicate to our German customers. Join us to make a tangible impact in an untapped area of the business and drive our future internationalisation roadmap.

About You

You are an individual who is preferably German but might also speak German as a first language. You are good in front of a camera as you will quickly become the face of our German presence. You are a generalist; you thrive working on varied projects and have a diverse skill set. You are proactive - you don't wait to be told what to do - and you thrive on working with a variety of people. You have a strong bias to action and can coordinate teams to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L responsibility for Germany by working cross-functionally to:
  • Translate our website
  • Translate our content and ads into German, recording content and voice-overs as necessary
  • Advise on local customs and norms around online shopping, including payment methods
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns in German
  • Use Power BI and GA4 to track data and report on progress and the success of initiatives

We are considering candidates with a range of experience from 0 to 4 years.

Must-haves:

  • Fluent in German (with a preference for German nationality)
  • Strong team-working skills
  • Confidence in front of camera (to record hooks for our ads)
  • Confidence on a microphone (to record voice-overs)
  • Strong organisation, with the ability to run processes and improvement cycles
  • Scrappy and determined to see projects through to completion

Nice-to-haves (we can train the correct candidate):

  • Knowledge of video and photo-editing software
  • Knowledge of ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
  • Knowledge of Shopify
  • A keen interest in data analysis

What's in it for you?

  • Be part of a passionate team with significant growth opportunities
  • Drive innovation in a new area of the business, where no 2 days are the same
  • Collaborate with an exciting brand and be a part of our journey

  • 1-month paid leave after 5-years of service
