What is Candlelight?
Candlelight concerts are a unique musical and sensory experience created by the beautiful ambience of candlelight. Our concerts highlight talent from upcoming artists to professional musicians and allow you to enjoy some of the most famous works of classical music in a completely new way and in various, spectacular locations.
Candlelight is now expanding beyond classical music into other genres that fit well within the experience such as jazz, soul, flamenco, opera, and more!
Please note: Due to the nature of this role, candidates will need to travel often to manage the events and ideally be local to the area.
Responsibilities will include:
Pre/Post Production
- Coordinating the operations and logistics of each event in your City including transportation of equipment to and from the venue
- Liaising with artists and suppliers, negotiating the best rate for multiple bookings
- Creating schedules and advancing key documents to all suppliers and venues staff
- Booking and training staff for all events through our agency staffing partner
- Attending weekly project updates with the Project Manager and Associate Producer to review, action and implement important production details, event reviews and policy procedures
- Overseeing inventory for storage solutions
- Ensuring Event and Incident Report forms are filled in (or ensuring the onsite EM has done so)
- Research and attending site visits for potential venues to expand in your city
- Occasionally assist with evaluating and executing walk-throughs of potential venues (additional hours given)
Onsite
- Managing scheduled event timings as the main POC onsite
- Implementing new or amended production details, company policies and procedures
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Filling in Event / Incident Report forms
- Encouraging high performance and implementing improvements with in your team
- Providing photographs and feedback after each event to your Project Manager
- Representing both the Fever and Candlelight brand fully through professional communication and management; acting as the main customer service representative at every event
