Position Overview

The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) seeks a Course Instructor to teach an in-person course titled \”British Business in a European Context\” for the CIEE Open Campus program during the upcoming Summer term. More details about the course can be found here .

CIEE is looking for a Course Instructor committed to study abroad education and cross-cultural learning. The instructor should embrace a task-based, communicative teaching approach, ensure quality across language levels, and introduce participants to local language and culture.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching university-level students
• Experience working with US undergraduate students preferred
• Master’s degree required; PhD preferred
• Significant subject area expertise related to the course
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Experience with communicative and task-based teaching methods
• Outstanding intercultural communication skills
• High proficiency in English; all courses delivered in English
• Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Team player with a professional attitude towards feedback
