We are looking for an organised, flexible, and empathetic HR Officer to join our team. This role requires someone with solid HR experience and knowledge in administration who can contribute to our supportive and dynamic workplace culture. In this position, you will play a key role in staff recruitment, onboarding, compliance and ensuring all HR policies align with our commitment to providing exceptional care.
- To work closely with Business development, HR and Care Managers, assisting them to recruit the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience.
- Recruiting staff according to job descriptions and person specifications, posting job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting the most suitable candidates.
- To contribute in developing and implementing policies on issues like performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, absence management.
- Sponsored workers compliance according to UKVI regulations.

Experience
- Have experience of working as an HR Officer (ideally within Social healthcare) in an efficient and pro-active manner.
- Experience of managing all aspects of the employee life cycle.
- Have the ability to prioritise and work accurately with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Excellent IT (competency in Microsoft office) and administration skills.
- Have excellent communication skills, particularly in speaking to others on the telephone and drafting emails.
- Be able to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a busy team.
- Assist day-to-day operations of the Compliance and HR functions.
- Understanding of UK employment regulations and Sponsored workers compliance processes.
- Willingness to learn: Stay updated on the latest HR trends and laws.
Qualifications
- HR (CIPD) / relevant degree or certification.
