Role Overview: As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to live fulfilling and independent lives. You will help with a variety of tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship, all while ensuring the well-being and dignity of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide support with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Light housekeeping and domestic duties.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Record and report any changes in the client's condition to the care coordinator.
- Ensure that the safety and dignity of the client are always maintained.
What We Are Looking For:
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards others.
- Previous experience in domiciliary care is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and access to a car (essential).
- Enhanced DBS check (essential) (we can assist with this process).
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
