SAP Basis Expert - German-speaking

SAP Basis Consultant

As a part of our continued collaboration with our German consultancy client, Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP Basis expert for a project with a customer based in Bonn, NRW.

Responsibilities:

* Migration support from R/3 or ECC to SAP Basis (S/4HANA)
* Planning and execution of system conversion to S/4HANA, including database migration to SAP HANA
* Analysis and resolution of technical issues during and after the migration
* Development and maintenance of Shell/PowerShell scripts to automate installations, system checks, or transports

Qualifications:

* Deep, long-standing experience in SAP Basis administration and configuration
* Strong experience in data migration from R/3 or ECC to S/4HANA
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, optionally Python)
* Basic understanding of ABAP and Fiori architecture is a plus

* Duration: Until end of 2025

* Location: Primarily remote; 1-2 on-site meetings per month in Bonn
