A manufacturer of materials handling equipment and automated handling equipment based in Derbyshire is seeking a European Sales Manager / European Sales Director / International Sales Manager. The successful candidate will have experience developing sales strategies and selling technical / engineered equipment / capital equipment / machinery into European markets.
You’ll be office based near Derby when not travelling, with an expectation of several weeks away every couple of months. A technical sales / engineering sales background is essential, ideally from engineered equipment / capital equipment / machinery / materials handling, automated equipment etc.
Package:
- £75,000- £100,000 base salary dependent on experience

Responsibilities:
- Develop sales strategies for expansion across Europe, targeting key markets for growth
- Manage direct sales with key account customers
- Develop existing sales partners to achieve growth plans
- Identify and onboard new sales partners
- Selling capital equipment / machinery, materials handling equipment and automated handling equipment to dealer & distributor network
- Monitor regional sales performance, providing regular reporting, and adapting sales strategy as required
- Office based near Derby, frequent European travel
Requirements:
- Proven European sales experience as a successful European Sales Manager / European Sales Director / International Sales Manager or similar
- Proven track record in B2B sales across European markets
- Proven experience in building and managing a dealer / distributor network in an industrial, capital equipment or engineering environment
- Engineering qualification is preferred
- Willingness to be office based when not travelling. Frequent European travel
