Requirements for applicants:
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ plumbing qualification or equivalent
- Experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and technical ability
- Problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset

- Ability to discuss technical issues confidently and accurately complete reports and log books
- Physical capability for lifting, carrying, and climbing

Duties and responsibilities:
- Plumbing tasks such as dead end/leg removal, ball valve replacement, installing insect screens, tank vents, fitting lids, lagging, TMV inspection & servicing, tap replacement, pipe rerouting, water heater replacement, softener installation, equipment installation, and tank replacements
- Monitoring water temperatures in outlets and tanks/cylinders
- Cleaning and disinfecting shower heads and outlets
- Visual water system inspections
- Water sampling and analysis
- Using site test kits for closed system analysis
- Chemical dosing
- Cooling tower cleaning, disinfection, and analysis
- Water feature analysis, sampling, and compliance documentation
- Descaling and internal inspections of calorifiers and water heaters
- Cleaning and disinfecting pipework systems and cold water storage tanks per BS 8558:2011
- Mains injection disinfections
- Softener servicing and disinfection
