We are looking for a Senior CRM Analyst to work within the VML Data team. The Senior Analyst will analyze data to deliver value through understanding our clients' customers and the performance of marketing activities. Working closely with the wider analytics and data team, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of measurement and insight projects across various marketing activities and contribute to answering business questions, ultimately ensuring that we are making the best use of available data to deliver against the client vision.
On a day-to-day basis, you will take ownership and leadership of analysis projects, delivering them with high accuracy and presenting results and insights to clients. This is predominantly a technical role grounded in customer data, so you should be experienced in handling large customer data sets. Communication and interpersonal skills are important, both in collaborating with clients and colleagues across multiple disciplines.
Role & Responsibilities- Design, manage, and deliver end-to-end analyses aimed at helping Marketing improve the customer experience.
- Deliver measurement and effectiveness projects, including dashboard reporting and deep dive evaluations to understand marketing impact on customer behavior.
- Lead customer projects (segmentation, modeling), utilizing statistical techniques to develop a deep understanding of customers.
- Apply relevant methodologies to measure and evaluate, proactively recommending better ways of working.
- Develop and present reports and recommendations on marketing strategy.
- Manage and resolve data quality and consistency issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor on data and analytical methodology, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Present findings to clients and participate in client meetings.
- Collaborate with strategy and account teams to embed data into agency deliverables and foster a data-informed culture.
- Support the development of junior team members and promote a learning environment.
- 3+ years in marketing or a related field as an analyst or senior analyst.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with platforms like Salesforce.
- Experience designing wireframes and creating dashboards.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality outputs with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in an agency environment.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, including performance analysis.
- Experience with reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker Studio.
