We are seeking a site-based Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading manufacturing organisation. You'll be based on their site in Gloucester reporting into the Health & Safety Manager for this division in the business. The company in question is a global business with a large UK SHEQ team, so there is excellent scope for career progression and promotion. You will be providing a high-quality service to operational sites, facilities and locations and ensure the successful local delivery and implementation of the company Health & Safety strategy.
The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Supporting site teams to implement group Health & Safety procedures.
- Engaging with local enforcement authorities and agencies on quality, environment, health & safety issues.
- Assisting in compilation of safety, environment, health & quality management arrangements to ensure retention of ISO accreditation.
- Providing safety, health, environment and quality coaching for all levels of operational teams.
The Health & Safety Advisor will have:
- Health & safety experience in construction, manufacturing, logistics, waste, civils or any high-risk environment.
- At least 3 years' experience in health & safety.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Lean Six Sigma experience desirable.
