The Role
- You will lead high-impact technical waste consultancy projects supporting nuclear decommissioning and strategy, shaping the UK’s nuclear future.
- Your responsibilities include leading waste projects, guiding technical teams, and working with customers to deliver safe, high-quality solutions.
- Provide specialist advice and lead technical delivery in nuclear waste management and decommissioning projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Support strategic bids and business growth.
- Supervise and develop technical staff, including line management.
- Ensure outputs meet environmental, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements.
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).
Essential Experience
- Extensive nuclear waste management experience in strategy, delivery, and technical leadership.
- Experience managing technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Experience in decommissioning, disposability, or waste strategy projects.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in engineering or science.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.
