IT Support Analyst – Up to £40,000 + Good BenefitsLocation – Canterbury, KentOur client is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join it’s small and busy IT Services team. This is a far-reaching role that would suit a strong all-round technical support analyst / support engineer that enjoys a varied role. The IT Support Analyst will be part of the team supporting approx. 600 – 650 users across multiple sites. You’ll provide a mix of 2nd & 3rd line BAU support for Group wide systems as well as working on new projects. With a wide remit that leans towards building, maintaining and administration of the data centre, virtualisation, server, SAN storage, backup, systems and security aspects. This is an office based position on the outskirts of Canterbury. Due to remote location, the successful candidate will need to drive or ride a motorbike as the site isn’t well served by public transport.To be suitable for the position you’d be expected to have previous experience with most of the following (or similar alternative products / tools);Essential:

  • Preventative maintenance of Datacentres
  • Responsible for VM/Application backups/snapshots
  • Maintaining a healthy server environment through monitoring, patching and upgrades
  • Good customer service skills for user facing and external supplier facing customers
  • Good Understanding Networking TCP/IP
  • Good understanding of server and other IT and networking hardware
  • Security- Best Practice AV and endpoint security
  • O365/Azure AD – Web & Email
  • Windows Server 2016-2022
  • VMWare or Hyper-V or Nutanix or similar
  • Administer Intune and Azure
  • O365 Exchange administration
  • Good analysis and decision-making skills
  • Good problem-solving skills

Desirable

  • Experienced in Citrix Xenapp/ PVS/ Appsense/ Director/ Studio
  • Cyber Security awareness
  • Server & Desktop Virtualisation
  • Microsoft SQL maintenance/administration
  • Autopilot
  • Good planning & organising skills
  • Process innovation skills
  • Organisation awareness skills
  • Good understanding of IT Firewalls – Watchguard
