Role Overview: The Senior Associate partners with Investment Managers to oversee commercial real estate investments, focusing on optimizing financial performance, developing property strategies, analyzing leasing decisions, and evaluating property performance against industry benchmarks. Responsibilities include managing daily operations for select assets, preparing property reports and budgets, and supporting ESG initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Investment Managers to develop operational strategies and oversee capital projects, liaising with third-party property managers and stakeholders.
- Reviewing valuation models and participating in acquisition/disposition processes.
- Preparing financial analyses and benchmarking portfolio results.
- Developing annual business plans and property budgets.
- Analyzing market reports and lease data.
- Supporting ESG+R goal setting and working with partners to achieve sustainability objectives.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in commercial real estate or related fields preferred; property-level experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, financial modeling (Argus, Yardi, MS Office), and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret lease agreements and financial concepts.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or equivalent; ongoing education encouraged.
