The role As a Inter Company Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will lead and manage Inter Company accounting, recharging and reconciliation activities in a role that is pivotal to ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient Inter Company transactions and processes. Day-to-day, you’ll lead and manage a capable and motivated team in delivering a high-quality service to the sectors. Team management including objective setting, development plans, coaching and task delegation. Mentoring and developing the team to enhance overall output and understanding of Inter Company activities. Oversight of shared Inter Company mailbox managed by the team, handling approximately 400 requisitions per month, while providing hands-on support on as required. Effective management of, and hands-on support to month end and year end Inter Company processes to ensure that all balances are reconciled, and any discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner and within tight deadlines. This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements. Ideally you will be located close to Portsmouth/Leicester or Devonport. Essential experience of the Inter Company Manager: Experience of managing and developing a team within a Finance function preferable but not essential. This could be a good opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to move into a management position. Experience of Inter Company accounting ideally in a complex international business environment. Technical finance skills desirable, with proven ability to understand and interpret accounting principles (being able to explain technical accounting to non-technical, non-financial staff.) Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office 2010 suite of applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook Experience of Finance IT applications (e.g., SAP, NAV (Navision, IFS, etc.) Qualifications for the Inter Company Manager: Qualified accountant preferred but part-qualified or qualified by experience considered.
