We are seeking an experienced Marine Liability Claims Handler to join our Marine Claims team. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our London or Chelmsford offices. You will manage complex liability claims, working with stakeholders across the London Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle marine liability claims and Ports & Terminal policies.
- Assess coverage, investigate liability, and manage claims to resolution.
- Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, legal counsel, and third-party experts.
- Ensure accurate reporting and reserving.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 5 years of marine liability claims handling experience, preferably in Lloyd’s/London Market.
- Strong knowledge of marine liability policies and legal frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage complex caseloads independently.
- Familiarity with ECF/class systems and market tools.
