Our UK Cyber & Intelligence business combines modern software development approaches with a rich heritage and experience in the Defence and security sectors. Our customers have complex and sensitive data and information requirements requiring a mission partner who quickly understands the context, delivering and sustaining a portfolio of challenging technology projects at scale and pace, supporting them through an ambitious digital transformation programme.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on maintenance to ensure critical systems remain operational
- Monitoring systems to ensure maximum availability
- Support the wider development team in working through critical issues and remediate them
- Identifying technical risks/opportunities and proactively developing plans to mitigate and realise them
- Maintain accurate documentation including a record of issues and faults along with solutions
- Implementing DevOps and/or SRE best practices as required on relevant systems

We are looking for:
- Hands on experience of supporting and debugging of complex live operational systems including monitoring of logs through tools such as Splunk / ELK stack
- Ability to pro-actively manage own tasking and react to higher priority tasks
- Experience of Linux server administration
- Experience in technologies such as Apache NiFi, MinIO/ AWS S3
- Experience managing and patching Java and Python applications
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker / Podman and deployment technologies such as Kubernetes / OpenShift
Role clearance type: You must currently hold the highest level of UK Government clearance.
