The Role: This is a Fixed Term Contract position Working as part of the visual marketing team to ensure a commercial and on-brand shopping experience is communicated and supported through the establishment and maintenance of VM principles and best practices. Collaborating with the design, buying, and merchandising teams on space planning, merchandising plans, and seasonal objectives. Reacting to trade opportunities and developing the brand positioning of these departments to ensure customer engagement and commercial gain. What you’ll be doing: Defining principles and best practices to drive brand look, feel, and commercial benefits. Enhancing the customer experience across store concepts with an adaptable strategy. Working within visual principles to ensure consistency and ease of implementation. Collaborating with BMD teams to understand product strategy and develop layouts that drive sales. Coordinating with Space Planning to ensure timely and correct product placement aligned with seasonal trends. Partnering with the 3D Visualiser to set space principles and visualize new ideas. Leading strategic changes to the store environment, including fixtures, signage, POS, mannequins, and props. Delivering seasonal guidance, store packs, updates, and principles. Introducing new ideas and approaches to product presentation and communication. Implementing new initiatives, trials, and rollouts across stores. Prioritizing omnichannel strategies in decision-making. Collaborating with various functions and maintaining VM messaging and timelines. Ensuring a seamless product journey across windows, trend hotspots, and departments. Engaging with field VM teams and retail partners to understand market opportunities. Gathering feedback to refine VM strategies. Supporting the seasonal strategy implementation and communication via Model Store. Reacting to trade opportunities to enhance product positioning. Monitoring competitor activity and conducting regular compshops. Leading by example and demonstrating high standards of behavior within the team. Who you are: At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience at junior management level. Proven experience within fashion retail, preferably high street. Experience in VM, window dressing, and styling. Experience working with buying, merchandising, and design teams. Strong knowledge of the fashion retail industry. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to adapt quickly and react with pace. Solution-driven mindset. Influential at all levels of the business. Ability to present, pitch ideas, and lead retail walkthroughs and engagement. Strong leadership skills. Team player with collaborative skills. Educational, qualifications, and technical skills: Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel; knowledge of 3D software is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
