Responsibilities: Manage relationships with suppliers for all aspects relating to the business Coordination of promotional activity Negotiation of pricing and promotional funding Pricing and margin management Range management Analysis of sales, suppliers and market trends Placing orders for all depots using sound commercial reasoning and influence to ensure maximum availability and prices Order placement Management of stockholding. Exercise influence over suppliers where there are shortages of stock Ensure certain tasks are completed in a timely manner with a high level of attention to detail Proofing promotional brochures for correct imagery, pricing and PORs Tracking and claiming retrospective monies from suppliers for supplier funded promotions Liaising with depots and other internal departments in regard to category mattersAbout you: Passion for Buying, Sales or Category Management Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills High level of attention to detail Ability to build relationships internally and externally using effective influencing skills A strong and effective negotiator Quick learner that is proactive Ability to meet tight deadlinesAbout Us We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
