This is more than just a testing role; it’s an opportunity to lead, influence, and deliver critical testing services on high-impact projects. You’ll work with a collaborative, skilled team that values technical excellence, strong communication, and a proactive mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating and maintaining high-quality test documentation including test plans, scripts, reports, and defect logs.
  • Working closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and delivery meet business objectives.
  • Supporting junior team members and helping grow the capability of the test function.
  • Reporting on test progress, managing risks, and ensuring smooth test execution across different methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model).

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience in manual and automated testing across a range of technologies and environments.
  • A solid background working with tools and platforms such as Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, SCOM, SCCM, and VMware.
  • Comfortable producing detailed test artefacts and working with requirement traceability.
  • Familiarity with test management and version control tools such as JIRA and Subversion.

  • Great communication skills — both written and verbal — and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.

Desirable (But Not Essential)

  • Exposure to NXLog, McAfee, SQL, Terminal Server, Cisco ISE/Viptela, Juniper Networking, or KeePass.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering secure, innovative solutions across the UK and beyond. You’ll have room to grow, lead, and shape the way testing is delivered, while being supported by a company that values its people, diversity, and continuous learning. Interested?
