We are collaborating with one of the UK's leading Offshore Wind Design Consultancies, looking to expand their team. We seek candidates with 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally in offshore structures, wind turbines, or marine systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a desire to be part of an organization aiming to become the world's leading offshore renewable energy team.
You should be familiar with structural design software used in the offshore wind industry, such as the Sesam suite and Ansys, and be open to learning new software developed by their in-house Software Engineering Team. Experience with analyses such as ULS, FLS, wave loading, etc., is essential. A good understanding of offshore wind foundation design, especially interfaces between secondary structures and other disciplines like primary steel and electrical design, is required.
