Job Title: Submarine Safety Engineering Consultant

Contract Type: Permanent

Flexibility: This role is available part-time, job-share or full-time. We recognize that the best candidates may not always be available full-time. We have offices in Bath, Bristol, Fareham, Glasgow, Plymouth, Weymouth, London & Teddington and support flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Travel to customer sites or meetings will be required.

About the role: We focus on SDGs like Climate Action and Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. As a Submarine Safety Engineering Consultant, you will provide safety support and advice to submarine projects, supporting the UK submarine community. Your experience with submarine operations and equipment will help deliver safety projects aligned with UK legislation and standards.

About You: This role suits an ex-Submariner aiming to move into safety engineering. Experience with Royal Navy submarines and equipment is preferred. Knowledge of safety management for nuclear facilities, safety regulations, hazard log management, and safety assessments is advantageous. Excellent communication and a proactive approach to professional accreditation are essential. UK Security Clearance at SC level is required.
