What The Day Will Look Like
We seek an experienced and diligent Marine Cargo Claims Handler to join our wider Marine Claims team. This is a key role for a confident professional with a solid background in marine cargo claims, who can take ownership of a varied and sophisticated caseload while delivering a high standard of service to clients and stakeholders. Duties will include:
- Manage a portfolio of marine cargo claims and bordereaux reporting.
- Investigate and evaluate claims, determining coverage and liability.
- Collaborate with surveyors, adjusters, underwriters, and legal advisers as needed.
- Negotiate settlements in line with policy terms and company guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with regulatory requirements.
