Account Manager Role – UK
Your role as an Account Manager is to execute the UK sales strategy within defined markets, focusing on upselling and cross-selling the company’s products and services to existing customers. You will aim to retain and grow the customer base, achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
This is a UK remote role, with regular travel to client sites and the London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact, building long-term, value-driven relationships with customers and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Implement strategies to surpass revenue growth, customer retention, and churn targets.
- Identify and convert upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities to meet sales goals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profits.
- Proactively engage with customers via email, phone, online presentations, and in-person meetings to drive revenue, product adoption, and satisfaction.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions and projects aligned with customer needs.
- Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders.
- Forecast and report on account metrics like revenue growth, retention, and churn risk.
- Monitor customer usage of products.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on strategic plans and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce, tracking contracts and renewals.
- Provide feedback to Product teams for customer-centric development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and maintain a professional network.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum 5+ years in account management, customer success, sales, or customer service in a B2B software environment (SaaS experience beneficial).
- Post-secondary education in business, law, or related fields, or equivalent experience in the legal industry (beneficial).
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong desire and ability to learn product functionalities for effective training and demos.
- Excellent self-motivation and passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Travel requirement up to 20% for client training, meetings, and conferences across the UK.
