Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced flood and drainage Consultant/Engineer to join our Hydrology Team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5–10+ years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Design, and planning applications.
  • Undertake flow modelling using recognized UK packages.
  • Consult with Local Planning Authorities, Lead Local Flood Authorities, Water Companies, and Regulators.
  • Conduct site walkovers and technical duties.
  • Support Flood Risk Assessments and Environmental Statements.
  • Assist in bid preparation and client development.
  • Attend client and regulatory meetings.
  • Stay updated on drainage design trends and techniques.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is desirable.

Candidate Profile

Ideally, you will have 5–10+ years of experience, be chartered with ICE or CIWEM (CEng or CSci), and be interested in project delivery, team management, and client liaison.
