Newton Colmore is working with a biotechnology innovator in South Cambridgeshire and is searching for a scientist to join their bioprocess development team. As a senior scientist in this company, you will be working closely with the VP of Science and work on complex bioprocess development challenges so that the company can manufacture novel molecules for a range of modalities and therapeutic areas.
To begin, you will be familiarising yourself with the company's technology platform, which involves suspension mammalian cell culturing, transfection, filtration, diafiltration and chromatography, before becoming fully integrated into the team to take on more responsibilities and lead process development. You will be using your experience to work on the science of their technology, from eureka moment and initial ideation, through to delivery and manufacture.
You will take charge of the full development process and will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team, all aiming to make a step change with new ideas. In exchange for your skills and expertise, the company offer a package tailored to you, which includes share options, and regular salary reviews.
