The Financial Analysis Manager - FSI is responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the Sargento B2B division, Food Service & Ingredient (FSI). This role involves executing, analyzing, tracking, and reporting on various aspects of FSI pricing and profitability. The individual will collaborate with FSI leadership, sales & marketing staff, procurement, R&D, manufacturing, and customers to deliver relevant financial insights for strategic decision-making.

What You Do:

  • Pricing Management: Lead quarterly pricing and commodity management processes for all FSI items, ensuring timely and accurate administration of division pricing strategies across channels, product lines, and customer accounts. Support pricing strategies aligned with long-term division profit and volume goals; translate strategy into annual tactical plans. Provide analytical support for forward-buy programs, working with sales and accounting to ensure compliance with company policies, including reconciliations. Develop and manage RFP processes, including developing quotes and providing recommendations based on volumes, margins, and market competitiveness. Analyze and report on the financial impact of price changes. Serve as a subject matter expert for FSI financial/pricing management systems, including future upgrades.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct ongoing financial analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions and overall health of the division. Support FP&A functions including Forecasting, Budgeting, and Strategic Planning. Analyze financial performance of new product launches and communicate results.
  • Price Quotes: Develop understanding of costs/prices in B2B food markets, analyze costs, and recommend adjustments. Partner with costing teams to ensure comprehensive cost considerations for products. Support sales teams with timely and accurate cost estimates and price quotes, aligned with division profitability goals.
  • Other Responsibilities: Support budget processes, considering volume and raw material inputs for customer pricing. Participate in FSI CPPM projects through cost and price analysis, risk identification, and project support. Handle sales/customer disputes related to pricing discrepancies, including accruals, discounts, and freight. Supervise and mentor FSI Financial Analysts, providing backup for pricing activities and strategic analysis. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance division and customer service levels.

Your Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of financial analysis experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
