About the Beaufort Bar
The dramatic jet-black and gold décor of the Beaufort Bar provides the perfect setting for glamour and luxury. It is the hidden gem in the hotel with a discreet entrance and a cool late night vibe. Open from Thursday to Saturday nights, with a DJ playing after dark, the Beaufort Bar is a glamorous location to enjoy creative cocktails, prestige spirits, and rare vintages. The Beaufort Bar’s menu takes guests on a journey across centuries and through flavors. Focusing on the finest wines and Champagnes, with cocktails created to evoke the very specific flavor bouquets of the Champagne region, and a luxurious bar dining menu, Nocturne creates a night-time world of seduction and indulgence.
It is led by Bar Manager Markus Basset.
Your purpose will be:
- To create a sophisticated and memorable experience for each guest, making an emotional connection and ensuring their time in the bar is memorable in a positive way.
- To look after several tables at once, engage with guests, make recommendations, and collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless five-star experience.
- To learn and follow our five-star standards, performing to measurable targets.
- To deliver five-star hospitality, with training on service standards and confidence in knowledge of cocktails, champagnes, wines, and food within a reasonable timeframe.
- To attend training sessions, learn from team members, and be coached by your leader.
- To be part of a great team and community that enjoys their work and proudly represents The Savoy.

Qualifications
Essential:
- 1-2 years of serving or hosting in a luxury hospitality environment
- Passion for and understanding of five-star hospitality
- Quick thinking, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and courteous
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Good command of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Basic knowledge of POS systems
- Basic knowledge of OpenTable
