Business Intelligence Officer

Job Title: Business Intelligence Officer

Reports to: Head of ICT

Salary: Scale SO1, Points 29-31, £29,090 – £31,014 Per annum, Pro rata

Hours of work: 22.5 hours Per Week (One day must be Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Presentation: Clean and analyze data sets using software like Microsoft Excel and Power BI; create charts for insights.
2. KPI Development and Reporting: Identify KPIs with departments; set up Power BI reports with automated data sources.
3. Designing Business Processes and Systems: Use IT knowledge and Lean principles to design efficient processes; involve teams for buy-in; deliver training as needed.
4. Identifying Improvement Opportunities: Find areas for improvement across teams based on customer needs, processes, management, and culture.
5. Organization Interaction: Build relationships with Operations, ICT, HR; communicate via reports, presentations, articles, social media; facilitate workshops; deliver training; support improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Essential: Maths and English GCSE (Grade C or above)
• Desirable: Lean and/or Six Sigma accreditation
