Mission
This position reports directly to the Managing Director as part of the Retail team of Bulgari UK, based at Head Office. The main objective of the Retail Merchandising role is to ensure a focused and cohesive product assortment in Bulgari\’s stores within the UK, optimizing stock, driving sales, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Market and Product Knowledge
- Analyze competitor trends, market dynamics, and pricing strategies within the luxury jewelry, watches, and accessories sectors.
- Monitor sales performance through both quantitative analyses and qualitative feedback from retail teams and customer interactions.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify business opportunities, assess risks, and understand customer preferences.
- Develop actionable plans in collaboration with Retail, Training, Customer Service, Product Categories, and HQ teams to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular store visits to gain first-hand insights.
- Work closely with Central Merchandising and Supply Chain to refine sales forecasts based on market trends and product performance data.
- Serve as the liaison between stores and product category teams, fostering communication.
- Collaborate with F&A Team on activities like buy-back, rebalancing, seasonal store closing, and intercompany sales to optimize stock and costs.
- Inventory Management & Optimization
- Define the OTB budget for stores, aligning with company strategy and stock level objectives.
- Monitor and control orders and replenishment to adhere to budgeted stock levels.
- Support physical stores in buying decisions to ensure relevant product offerings, balancing new arrivals with bestsellers.
- Update product zoning and assortments based on sales data and regional needs.
- Collaborate with Demand and Supply Planner to optimize stock management.
- Work with F&A Team on inventory activities to control costs.
- Product Animation & Visual Merchandising
- Coordinate with Demand and Supply Planner for new product launches and collaborate with teams to ensure successful launches.
- Work with Visual Merchandiser to optimize product visibility and store displays.
- Contribute to product animation plans to create engaging customer experiences and boost sales.
- Optimize stock allocation to minimize depreciation impact.
Profile
Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in retail merchandising or planning within a luxury retail environment.
• Highly analytical with excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Commercially aware with a passion for luxury goods and the Bulgari brand.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Influential, entrepreneurial, and pedagogical approach.
• Detail-oriented in analysis, synthetic and action-focused in communication.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
