Now, let us tell you about the role:

  • Manage daily onsite material processing, recovery, and final disposal operations.
  • Ensure health, safety & wellbeing of all operational personnel.
  • Maintain health & safety compliance for all 3rd party visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with Environment Agency site permit and all applicable legislation.
  • Adhere to company processes and procedures.
  • Play a leading role in the onsite senior management team.
  • Support recruitment, induction, and training of new employees.
  • Train, develop, and coach all employees.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance of all plant, mobile plant, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure material transportation aligns with offtake agreements and permits.
  • Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and conduct competency assessments.
  • Participate actively in the site SHEQ working group.
  • Conduct performance reviews of operational personnel.
  • Lead daily site planning and review meetings.
  • Maximize plant availability and throughput while maintaining output quality.
  • Manage operational costs effectively.
  • Ensure sufficient labor is available for safe and compliant operations.
  • Approve payroll submissions.
