We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our team at HMP Lewes, a CATEGORY B & Adult Male prison. Join a team that is more than just colleagues – we work Monday to Friday as a supportive family, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Lewes operates like a self-contained town, requiring hundreds to keep it functioning. Our Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the community.

As a Site Manager, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment. We are a Ministry Of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS and are looking for a Site Manager with experience in facilities management, budget management, staff management, and ideally, experience in a prison or military environment. Recognised apprenticeship or two years of relevant experience is required. IOSH qualification and good health & safety knowledge are desirable.
