Mode Search is supporting a globally recognised luxury fashion house in the search for an experienced Store Manager to lead their boutique in Oxfordshire. This is a key leadership role for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences within the luxury sector. The position is based full-time onsite.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the store and play a critical role in delivering commercial success, operational excellence, and team leadership.
The Role- Lead all aspects of the store’s operations to ensure an exceptional customer journey and premium brand experience.
- Drive commercial results by setting clear sales targets, analysing business performance, and implementing strategies to grow revenue and profitability.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team through effective recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure the store consistently meets visual merchandising and operational standards in line with brand guidelines.
- Cultivate a client-first culture that prioritises personalised service and long-term client relationships.
- Manage stock levels, inventory control, and store replenishment to maximise product availability and sell-through.
- Foster collaborative relationships with Village management, head office teams, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader, ideally within a luxury or premium fashion brand.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Inspirational leadership style with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management capabilities.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including visual merchandising, stock control, and clienteling.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.
