About the Strategy team: The Strategy team helps resolve the most exciting and important issues facing the business and pursue our biggest opportunities. You will work with senior leaders, integrate across departments, solve problems, and bring new insights.

What you\’ll do:

You will collaborate with consumer and regional leadership to address key strategic questions such as how to provide more value to customers, win with key audiences, and target resources geographically. You will be at the forefront of what makes Deliveroo great: driving high growth, being data-driven, and continuously improving outcomes for consumers, restaurants, and riders. You will report to the Senior Business Strategy Manager and work in a hybrid role, being in the London office 3 days a week.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Strategy: Help formulate the long-term strategy for the EU region and structure its successful execution.
2. Initiatives and programmes: Identify opportunities, develop them into experiments, projects, and cross-cutting programmes, and lead their execution. Collaborate with consumer, regional, and commercial teams to ensure alignment. Over time, become an expert on your topics.
3. Performance improvement: Work holistically on drivers of over/underperformance and responses, complementing the Finance team\’s budget planning.

Requirements:

• 3+ years\’ experience in a strategy role, such as management consultancy, boutique consultancy, or internal strategy.
• Quantitative analysis skills (Advanced Excel) and problem-solving abilities, from structuring issues to designing workstreams.
• Experience working with senior leadership or leadership experience.
• Data-oriented with a commercial mindset, seeking growth opportunities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without authority.
