The role will be responsible for managing maintenance contracts loaded into e-Quip and ensuring key KPI targets are met. It supports the Head of Medical Engineering with asset management of all medical devices maintained by external providers within the Trust, ensuring high standards of record keeping, timely contract renewals, overseeing booking processes for preventive maintenance, and logging all contract and servicing information in the Trust’s Medical Devices Database (e-Quip).
The role requires engagement with Healthcare Partners procurement and finance teams, as well as external third-party contractors.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage service contracts for medical equipment using the E-Quip system.
- Monitor contract costs, ensure value for money, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Track contract performance against SLAs and escalate non-compliance issues.
- Ensure financial accuracy in invoicing, purchase orders, and budget forecasts related to maintenance in e-Quip.
- Coordinate with external service providers for scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Liaise with Procurement and Finance teams regarding contract renewals and new contracts.
- Define maintenance schedules for equipment in accordance with MHRA guidelines.
