ROLE PURPOSE:
To take a leading role in managing Anti-Social Behaviour and Domestic Abuse Case Work, collaborating with internal and external agencies to assess risks faced by victims of Domestic Abuse, and implementing safety measures along with robust support packages for victims.
Proactively support improvements by providing advice on national and local policies related to anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse, including statutory duty changes.
Manage an effective and efficient caseload of ASB and domestic abuse cases across the managed housing stock, including Colne Park, covering both secure and non-secure occupation arrangements.
Maximise support opportunities for vulnerable tenants to mitigate tenancy failure and address unacceptable behaviours positively.
Ensure breaches of tenancy are responded to appropriately and proportionately, in line with the Council\’s responsibilities as a social landlord.
1. QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold a Level 4 and Level 5 Housing Qualification or be working towards these qualifications.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- A good standard of education with English & Maths GCSE grades A-C or equivalent.
3. EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in managing complex Domestic Abuse and ASB caseloads successfully.
- Experience supervising staff and monitoring casework both quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Experience in risk assessing victims of Domestic Abuse using the Save Lives Framework.
- Experience managing diverse and complex caseloads with various vulnerabilities.
- Experience identifying and responding to risk factors related to tenancy failure, both individually and collaboratively.
- Experience delivering creative engagement solutions for vulnerable and socially excluded residents.
- Ability to operate flexibly and adapt successfully during periods of significant change internally and externally.
