What will you be doing?

Our consultants support clients across automotive, aerospace, defence, and energy sectors to solve complex technical challenges.

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer with experience in drivetrain components to join a leading project based in Coventry. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of projects involving drivetrain components (e.g., EDU, crankshaft, axles, etc.).
  • Liaise directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Manage timelines, technical input, risks, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical oversight while working collaboratively across engineering teams.

Who are we looking for?

  • Hands-on experience working with drivetrain components – such as Electric Drive Units (EDU), crankshafts, axles, gearboxes, etc.
  • Proven project management experience in a technical engineering environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Experience, skills, and qualifications required:

  • Strong understanding of drivetrain components such as transmissions, axles, propshafts, or eDrive systems.

  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder reporting.
