We are seeking a proactive AV Lead Engineer to contribute to our innovative new product. As the UK market leader in our field, we have a highly professional delivery team. We require your engineering and commissioning expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and install audio-visual systems tailored to client specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Configure and maintain networked AV systems, including VoIP and CCTV setups.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Provide technical support during events to ensure seamless AV operation.
- Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and project progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a senior installation or final commissioning engineer in complex, integrated Audio Visual environments.
- Thorough understanding of core AV technologies with confidence in installation, commissioning, and demonstration.
- Proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new technologies, including bespoke systems.
- Ability to provide feedback to R&D to align products with customer requirements.
- Experience leading complex projects across the UK, on time and within budget.
- Ability to collaborate with third-party trades and support project management with site feedback.
- Familiarity with BAU solutions and keeping them updated with developments.
- Effective communication with desktop developers, testers, support teams, and customers to relay improvements or challenges.
- Coordination with internal teams to ensure hardware, resources, and back-end systems are ready for delivery.
- Support venue technicians with customer training and occasional hands-on operation.
- Ability to write RAMS and uphold safety standards on site.
- Hands-on involvement with a small, fast-moving team.
