We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Marketing Manager covering the Middle East region on behalf of Leonardo Electronics UK. The role covers the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the Sultanate of Oman. This role is key to the company’s export growth through strategic marketing and sales campaigns.
What You Will Do
- Lead the new business winning plan for the Middle East
- Work closely with UK Sales Teams in focused and successful Business Winning activities
- Provide latest marketing intelligence to support sales opportunities
- Establish good working relationships with the End User/Customer community
- Build strong relationships with Government staff in DBT DSE and embassies
- Manage existing and new advisor/local partner contracts
- Attend Middle East exhibitions and conferences
- Maintain close coordination with the company’s regional offices
- Lead marketing strategies for local collaboration with in-country industrial partners
What We Need From You
- A proven track record of proactive management and leadership working with diverse teams to achieve business goals
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of the Middle East market, politics, culture, and local behaviours
- Responsiveness to End Users/Customers requests, including outside regular hours
- Understanding of Leonardo Electronics UK products and services
- Experience in discovering, qualifying, and translating market opportunities into business
- Ability to engage with customers and stakeholders at various seniority levels
- Persistence, pragmatism, and a structured approach to tasks and teams
