Job Overview

Thanks to continued significant organic growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join an established Professional Liability team in London, focusing on underwriting Professional Liability-driven business in Canada.

We are a market leader in providing solutions to both small and large enterprises in Canada, offering 5 products: Architects and Engineers, Miscellaneous Professionals, Recruitment, Oil and Gas, and Contractors E&O. Our team works on package policy solutions, providing multiple coverages under one policy, including Casualty and market-leading Cyber coverage. This role offers valuable experience and exposure not easily found elsewhere.

Role Responsibilities

  • Underwrite new business and renewals.
  • Respond to broker queries promptly and professionally, producing quotations within SLAs.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and develop strong broker relationships (face-to-face and over the phone).
  • Contribute to team and group initiatives.
  • Deliver presentations on CFC products, key trends, and emerging exposures.

Candidate Profile

We seek a driven individual aiming for high performance. You should enjoy teamwork, continuous skill development, and sharing experiences. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of underwriting or broking experience in professional liability (E&O), preferably with multi-class exposure and experience with North American business—though not mandatory.

You should have a sales focus, problem-solving skills, strong numeracy, and attention to detail. A strong work ethic, good communication, and collaboration skills are essential. The candidate should be motivated to join an ambitious, high-performance team and contribute to shaping the future of underwriting today.
