We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, to work with our Group Finance Business Partnering team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career within Finance, with study support to gain a full finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). The position is based at our Whitley, Yorkshire office on a hybrid basis.

What will you be doing?

  • You will support the Group Finance Business Partnering team in learning and providing analysis of month-end and project costs, helping to drive insight-driven discussions and challenge with key stakeholders.
  • You will be introduced to our financial systems and month-end processes, assisting in their development and automation to enhance insight and action.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Successful candidates will have an analytical mindset, proficiency in MS Excel, good communication skills, and a proactive approach.
  • No previous experience is required, but familiarity with finance processes, a finance degree, or relevant qualifications are desirable.

Key Tasks

  • Ensure accuracy of month-end management accounts
  • Support transition of month-end activities to Shared Services
  • Assist in reporting, analysis, and KPI development
  • Contribute to budgeting and stakeholder management
