The Payroll & Benefits specialist will play a key role in managing the Spanish and Netherlands payroll processes, and will be the 'go-to' person for query resolution. They are therefore looking for a problem-solver who can make a real contribution to their next business.

Description:
- Manage payroll and benefits for Spain and the Netherlands, and assist with UK payroll.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and keep up to date with legislation changes.
- Process payroll changes, including joiners, leavers, salary updates, pensions, sick/maternity/paternity pay, and bonuses.
- Review and improve payroll practices to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on payroll tasks, reconciliations, and approvals.
- Oversee vendor relationships (e.g., ADP Celegro), ensuring service delivery meets SLAs.
- Administer employee benefit plans and support communication with providers.
- Be the first HR point of contact for employee benefit queries.
- Perform regular reconciliations between HR and payroll systems.
- Support start- and year-end payroll tasks across European and UK entities.
Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience processing European payrolls, with involvement in UK payroll processes.
- Experience in employee benefits administration.
- Proficient in major payroll systems, ideally ADP Celergo.
- Strong knowledge of UK statutory payroll requirements; international payroll knowledge is a plus.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Team-oriented with strong planning and prioritisation abilities.
- Confident working independently on projects when needed.
