LEADING BOUTIQUE PROCUREMENT CONSULTANCY
HOME-BASED CONTRACT (OCCASIONAL CLIENT TRAVEL) – MUST BE BASED IN THE UK
If you are an experienced procurement consultant looking for an exciting new role, this is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization seeking innovative thinkers to join their team as they expand their business! With a diverse client base across both public and private sectors, this role offers an ambitious senior procurement consultant the chance to progress to a principal consultant position, gaining valuable exposure to client management and project leadership.
- Lead client delivery engagements independently, managing a team of consultants/senior consultants to develop and implement innovative procurement strategies.
- Work across various industries and functions for both public and private sector clients, gaining broad experience.
- Participate in business development activities—while not a primary focus at this level, the organization encourages and rewards initiative in bringing in new work.
- Support the development of junior team members within the organization.
Required Background:
- Candidates should have prior procurement consultancy experience, ideally gained at the Big 4 or a boutique/mid-sized consultancy.
- Experience in developing procurement strategies and delivering cost savings in indirect procurement categories, with exposure to FM or Professional Services procurement preferred.
- Industry agnostic, capable of leading projects across both public and private sectors; familiarity with public sector procurement or the Procurement Act is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrable success in delivering savings and innovative solutions in previous roles, evidenced on your CV.
